Role Overview

We are seeking a highly creative and experienced Senior Urban Designer to lead the design and delivery of urban projects from concept through to execution. This role is ideal for a design leader with a strong architectural background, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for shaping sustainable, future-ready urban spaces.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead urban design teams through all project stages, from concept to authority submissions.
• Develop and articulate a strong design philosophy aligned with sustainability and innovation.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring design excellence throughout.
• Mentor and supervise junior designers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Prepare and present compelling design proposals and documentation.
• Ensure adherence to BIM, CAD, and internal design standards.
• Support business development efforts and represent the firm in client and industry engagements.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor s degree in Architecture (Master s preferred).
• 8 10 years of experience in urban design, with a strong portfolio of built and conceptual work.
• Proficiency in design software and visual communication tools.
• Strong leadership, delegation, and team management skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English, with outstanding presentation abilities.
• Deep understanding of local authority requirements and submission processes.
