Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Engage customers by providing tailored product recommendations based on their needs and preferences, ensuring a personalized shopping experience.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of product features, benefits, and trends to effectively communicate value propositions to potential buyers.
  • Manage the showroom layout and product displays to create an inviting atmosphere and highlight key merchandise.
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with company policies and maintaining financial integrity.
  • Follow up with prospects and existing clients to nurture relationships and encourage repeat business and referrals.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to execute in-store promotions and events that drive customer traffic and increase sales.
  • Analyze sales data and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement strategic initiatives to boost performance.
  • Assist in inventory management, including stock replenishment and conducting regular audits to ensure product availability.
  • Provide exceptional after-sales support, addressing any customer concerns or queries promptly to enhance satisfaction.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development sessions to improve product knowledge and sales techniques.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred, providing a solid foundation for effective sales strategies.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of retail sales experience, particularly in a showroom environment, showcasing a proven ability to meet sales targets.
  • Certifications in sales techniques or customer service excellence will enhance your profile and demonstrate commitment to the profession.
  • Experience in the specific industry relevant to the showroom, such as furniture, automotive, or electronics, is highly beneficial.
  • Fluency in English is required, with additional language skills being a significant advantage in diverse customer interactions.
  • Strong technical skills related to point-of-sale systems and inventory management software to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, enabling you to build rapport with customers and foster long-term relationships.
  • Proactive attitude with a strong problem-solving ability, allowing you to handle customer objections and close sales effectively.
  • A results-driven mindset, with the ability to set personal sales goals and work diligently to achieve and exceed them.
  • Physical stamina is important, as the role may require standing for long periods and occasional lifting of products during demonstrations.
