Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Conduct on-site testing of fresh concrete, asphalt, and soil samples, ensuring adherence to project specifications and industry standards.
  • Perform slump tests, air content tests, and temperature measurements on fresh concrete to verify workability and compliance.
  • Execute compaction tests and density measurements on asphalt and soil to assess their structural integrity.
  • Prepare and submit accurate and timely reports detailing testing results, observations, and any deviations from specifications.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a High School Diploma or equivalent; a relevant Associate's degree is a plus.
  • Holds certifications in concrete, asphalt, and soil testing from recognized industry organizations (e.g., ACI, NICET).
  • Demonstrates at least 2 years of experience in construction materials testing, with a focus on concrete, asphalt, or soil.
  • Exhibits a strong understanding of relevant industry standards (e.g., ASTM, AASHTO).
