Roles & Responsibilities

Job Summary

We are seeking a commercially focused Soft Services Development Manager to drive the growth and development of soft services through sales, tendering, and service innovation. The role is responsible for developing winning service solutions, supporting new business acquisition, managing tenders and bids, and ensuring smooth mobilization of awarded contracts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive business growth through sales, client engagement, and development of soft services opportunities.
  • Lead and manage the end-to-end tendering and bidding process for soft services contracts.
  • Prepare proposals, technical submissions, pricing models, and presentations.
  • Conduct site surveys, client meetings, and needs assessments for prospective and existing clients.
  • Develop service delivery models, staffing structures, budgets, and SOPs aligned with client and commercial requirements.
  • Identify and pursue upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing contracts.
  • Support contract mobilization and ensure seamless handover to operations teams.
  • Collaborate with operations, finance, procurement, and HSE teams to deliver competitive and compliant solutions.
  • Monitor market trends, competitors, and client requirements to support growth strategies.
  • Ensure all tender submissions comply with contractual, legal, and regulatory requirements.

Desired Candidate Profile

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Proven experience in Soft Services Development, Sales, and Tendering within facilities management.
  • Strong knowledge of soft services (cleaning, housekeeping, security, waste management, pest control, landscaping, etc.).
  • Demonstrated experience in bid management, tender preparation, and pricing.
  • Strong commercial, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tenders and sales opportunities simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; experience with CRM and bid management tools is an advantage.
  • Relevant qualification in Facilities Management, Business, or a related field preferred.
