**About The Role**
Our Technology team builds the systems and experiences that keep Revolut moving. They develop infrastructure behind our app and features used globally, bringing sharp thinking, speed, and meaningful impact. We are looking for a Backend Engineer who wants to change the world. If you want your work to impact global finance, this role is for you.
**Technology Stack**
* Java 17/21
* GCP, Kubernetes, Grafana, Prometheus, NewRelic
* PostgreSQL, Redis
* Spock, SparkJava
* JOOQ, Flyway
**What You’ll Be Doing**
* Building mobile APIs
* Developing microservices to evolve architecture
* Perfecting systems like risk management, fraud detection, and payment processing
* Greenfield development and improving existing systems
**What You'll Need**
* Fluency with Java
* 6+ years of backend development experience
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Maths, Physics, or related field
* Quick learner, ambitious, results-driven
* Team player in fast-paced environment
* Excellent communication and organizational skills
* Fluency in English
**Nice to Have**
* Experience with Kotlin or Scala
* Experience in finance
* Experience in a startup or scale-up
* Experience in a product-focused environment
