Software Engineering Manager First Abu Dhabi Bank FAB

Oversee the full development process, from initial design through deployment and maintenance

Architect and implement scalable, secure, and reliable AI/ ML powered software solutions that can handle increasing load and complexity

Promote coding standards, CI/CD workflows, and other software development best practices to deliver high-quality, maintainable code

Work closely with product managers, data scientists/AI Eng., and other stakeholders to clarify requirements, set priorities, and align on deliverables

Define and maintain the engineering roadmap, balancing new feature development with technical debt and platform improvements

Establish and maintain clear, comprehensive technical documentation while driving best practices in engineering

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

7-10 years of experience in software development and engineering complex applications

Experience developing and deploying AI/ ML powered solutions

Strong proficiency in Python and at least one other language (e.g., Golang, Rust, Java, etc.) and related frameworks

Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker)

Strong foundation in algorithms, data structures, and system design

Deep understanding of modern software engineering practices (e.g., DevOps, CI/CD, microservices)

Hands-on experience with data pipelines, ETL processes, data warehouses, and related tools (Spark, Airflow, etc.)

Educational qualifications: Bachelor s/Master s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
