Roles & Responsibilities
Position OverviewWe are seeking a proactive and assertive Sourcing Executive to support the Sourcing Manager in managing vendor relationships, negotiating effectively, and ensuring timely delivery of quality products and materials. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, persistent, and reliable able to push vendors, conduct quality checks, and travel when required to ensure sourcing objectives are met.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the Sourcing Manager in executing sourcing strategies and supplier management.Actively communicate with vendors (calls, emails, visits) to ensure compliance with timelines, quality standards, and contract terms.Push vendors to meet deadlines and resolve issues promptly.Conduct product sampling, quality checks, and follow-ups to ensure standards are maintained.Source new suppliers, compare quotations, and maintain supplier databases.Assist in negotiations for pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.Coordinate with internal teams (procurement, logistics, finance, operations) to ensure smooth execution of sourcing activities.Prepare reports, track purchase orders, and update sourcing dashboards.Travel locally or internationally for supplier visits, audits, and inspections when required.Maintain high attention to detail in documentation, contracts, and compliance requirements.RequirementsBachelors degree in Supply Chain, Business, Procurement, or related field.3 - 5 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain (FMCG, retail, or manufacturing preferred).Strong communication and negotiation skills with a proactive, assertive approach.Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to handle multiple priorities under pressure.Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of ERP systems is an advantage.Willingness to travel for supplier visits, audits, and quality inspections.Fluency in English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.
