We are seeking a local teacher (OLK). A full-time position with a teaching load of 28 hours per week is offered. In addition to teaching duties, willingness to participate in school committees and involvement in extracurricular activities is expected.

Your tasks and responsibilities: 

For students with special educational needs in the area of ​​learning, the relationship between the individual and their environment is permanently or temporarily so difficult that they cannot achieve the goals and content of the curriculum in mainstream schools, or can only achieve them to a limited extent. These children and young people, and their parents, must receive support through services focused on learning support.

Special education support in the area of ​​learning disabilities is fundamentally based on the educational goals of mainstream schools and fulfills educational tasks arising from the lived experiences of students with special learning needs. Through suitable and structured learning situations, it primarily promotes cognitive processes, language skills, the acquisition of age-appropriate knowledge, emotional and social stability, and practical competence.

The responsibilities include, in particular:

• Advice and support for teachers, parents and the school management team on special education issues
• Conducting learning progress assessments and creating individual support plans
• Co-teaching and implementation of support measures in inclusive education
• Differentiation of learning content
• Adaptation and creation of measures took place for compensation for disadvantages
• One-to-one support for students with special educational needs, taking into account their individual learning prerequisites.
• The development and implementation of support programs, especially in the areas of spelling, reading comprehension, numerical understanding, attention and perception.
• Close collaboration with the members of the inclusion team (school management, special education teachers, school psychologist, learning assistants) and all persons involved in the support (teachers, parents, pupils, extracurricular partners)

• Regular evaluation and adjustment of the funding measures
