Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the sponsorship sales strategy to achieve revenue targets.
  • Identify, target, and secure high-value sponsorship deals across various sectors.
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with key clients and partners.
  • Lead, coach, and manage a team of sponsorship sales executives.
  • Work closely with internal teams (marketing, events, operations) to design attractive sponsorship packages.
  • Lead high-level negotiations and close complex, multi-channel sponsorship deals.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and competitor offerings to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Represent the company at major industry events, networking opportunities, and client meetings.

Reporting and administration:

  • Track, measure, and report on sales performance against revenue targets.
  • Maintain up-to-date sales pipelines, forecasts, and performance dashboards using CRM systems.
  • Ensure all contracts, proposals, and documentation are accurate, timely, and compliant with company policies.
  • Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and reporting to senior leadership.
  • Collaborate with finance and legal departments for invoicing, payment tracking, and agreement compliance.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (Master s degree preferred).
  • 2+ years of experience in B2B sponsorship or media sales.
  • Proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team management skills.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to build and execute revenue-generating plans.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and MS Office tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple high-level relationships and projects simultaneously.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for business development and events.
