Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design and execute risk-based audit plans that align with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements, ensuring comprehensive coverage of key risk areas.
- Conduct detailed audits of financial and operational processes, identifying inefficiencies and recommending improvements to enhance overall effectiveness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess the adequacy of internal controls and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
- Prepare clear and concise audit reports that communicate findings, risks, and recommendations to senior management and the audit committee.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
- Professional certifications such as CPA, CIA, or CISA are essential for credibility and expertise.
- A minimum of 5-7 years of relevant audit experience in a corporate or consulting environment, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of audit processes.
- Experience in specific industries such as banking, healthcare, or manufacturing is highly desirable to understand sector-specific regulations.
