Roles & Responsibilities
Join our dynamic Dubai team and become the face of the EC student experience! As a Student Services Coordinator, you ll play a key role in welcoming students from around the world, supporting them throughout their journey, and ensuring their time with EC is nothing short of unforgettable. You ll be their go-to guide and problem solver, helping them feel at home from their first day in Dubai to their last.
This is a fast-paced, people-focused role perfect for someone who thrives in an international environment, loves creating exceptional experiences and takes pride in making every interaction count.
Key Responsibilities:
- Be the first friendly face at the Centre welcoming students and visitors, offering professional guidance, and responding to requests with warmth, clarity, and efficiency.
- Drive student engagement by working closely with the Operations Manager and Director of Studies to generate and convert walk-in enquiries.
- Own the accommodation process managing student placements in residences and shared apartments, keeping records up to date, and ensuring every student feels comfortable and supported.
- Design and deliver an exciting activities programme that helps students build memories, friendships, and confidence outside the classroom.
- Ensure compliance and accuracy in all company and regulatory procedures, including immigration and statutory requirements.
- Champion process improvements by identifying new ways to elevate the student experience leading initiatives such as the Student Ambassador Programme.
- Coordinate all key student firsts such as airport transfers, arrival at accommodation, and first-day logistics, ensuring every step is smooth, welcoming, and memorable.
- Support financial processes by assisting with any outstanding student payments in line with company policy.
Desired Candidate Profile
Education Required:
- A-level or equivalent
- Fluent in English (verbal and written)
Education Desired:
- Higher Education
- Knowledge of a language other than English is considered an asset
Experience Required:
- Previous experience working in customer facing industry, ideally with multi-cultural aspect.
- Customer Service experience
- Working in a multi-cultural environment
- Has personally travelled as a language student
- Knowledge of accommodation in the EFL industry
- Previous work experience in an English Language School
