About the Role

DESS College is looking to recruit a Teacher of Computer Science and ICT for an August 2026 start.

About You

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in ICT, Computer Science, or a closely related field.
  • PGCE or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Have a minimum of two years of teaching experience in ICT and/ or Computer Science in a UK curriculum school.
  • Experience in delivering programming, with a particular emphasis on Python, and the ability to support students in developing computational thinking and coding skills.
  • A track record of delivering excellent student outcomes at both GCSE and A Level.
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development in the subject area and leadership.
  • Be willing to contribute positively to all aspects of the College's vision, including extra-curricular activities.
