This role ensures that pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities remain compliant, efficient, and aligned with global best practices in technology and regulatory standards.Key ResponsibilitiesTransformation Leadership & StrategyDevelop and execute transformation strategies aligned with the company s goals and objectives.Drive innovation, digitalization, and continuous improvement within engineering and technical operations.Lead cultural change initiatives focused on agility, ownership, and high-performance teams.Process Optimization & Lean OperationsAnalyze existing engineering and manufacturing workflows to identify inefficiencies.Implement Lean, Six Sigma, and other to improve productivity and reduce waste.Apply Quality by Design and risk-based methodologies across transformation projects.Technology Integration & Industry 4.0Evaluate and implement advanced technologies (IoT, SCADA, MES, AI, digital twins).Lead the adoption of smart factory concepts .Promote end-to-end digital integration of engineering systems.Maintenance Life Cycle Planning & Asset ManagementDesign and lead the Engineering Maintenance Life Cycle Plan for utilities, equipment, and facilities.Oversee the entire asset lifecycle from selection and commissioning to decommissioning.Integrate condition-based and predictive maintenance programs using modern diagnostics.Establish and monitor reliability KPIs: MTBF, MTTR, PM Compliance, OEE, and Maintenance Cost Ratio.Implement CMMS utilization for asset tracking, spare parts control, and KPI dashboards.Lead Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and risk-based maintenance (RBM) initiatives.Engineering Inventory Control & OptimizationDevelop and implement inventory control strategies to optimize spare parts availability and reduce working capital.Conduct regular reviews of stock levels, critical spare parts, and reorder strategies to ensure operational readiness.Collaborate with procurement, maintenance, and finance teams to align inventory planning with equipment criticality and maintenance schedules.Utilize SAP inventory management tools for tracking consumption, forecasting demand, and identifying excess or obsolete stock.Establish KPIs such as Inventory Turnover, Service Level, and Stockout Rate for performance monitoring and reporting.Project, Financial & Change ManagementOversee engineering projects in alignment with regulatory, safety, and performance requirements.Support the development of CAPEX and OPEX justifications for transformation and maintenance investments.Ensure smooth integration of process changes, equipment upgrades, and technology deployments.Coordinate with QA, production, EHS, and external vendors for seamless project execution.Team & Capability DevelopmentBuild and mentor a high-performing engineering team committed to transformation excellence.Develop internal competencies in lean thinking, asset care, digital tools, and project management.Foster a collaborative and performance-driven culture.Key CompetenciesStrategic and transformation thinkingEngineering leadership and stakeholder managementLean Six Sigma (Black Belt)GMP compliance and quality risk managementPredictive and preventive maintenance planningIndustry 4.0 technologies and digital enablementAnalytical decision-making and performance trackingCMMS and asset management systemsEffective communication and changing leadershipEducationQualifications & ExperienceBachelor s degree in Engineering.Experience7-10 years of experience in pharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing industries.Proven experience leading engineering transformation and maintenance strategy initiatives.Deep understanding of GMP, EHS, validation, and compliance frameworks
