Roles & Responsibilities

Role Description

This is a leadership role responsible for overseeing and guiding a team of mortgage advisors, including senior advisors, to achieve individual and team goals. This full-time position involves managing day-to-day team operations, providing training and mentorship, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements, and driving sales targets.

The Team Leader will collaborate closely with senior management to implement strategic initiatives, optimize client service, and enhance the overall performance of the mortgage advisory team.

The incumbent will also be required to source new business and will have to shoulder the responsibilities of achieving his own as well as the team targets.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field (minimum requirement).
  • At least 5 years of experience in mortgage advisory, with a proven track record in sales and client management.
  • 2+ years of leadership experience, managing or leading teams in the mortgage or financial services industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of mortgage products, lending regulations, and financial markets.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a team.
  • Proven ability to manage sales targets and performance metrics while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
