Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed 3D models of steel structures using Tekla Structures, ensuring accuracy and constructability.
  • Create and manage Tekla models for fabrication and erection, including connections, detailing, and material take-offs.
  • Generate accurate shop drawings, erection drawings, and bills of materials (BOMs) from Tekla models.
  • Collaborate with engineers, detailers, and fabricators to resolve design conflicts and ensure project compliance.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
  • Holds relevant certifications in Tekla Structures or similar BIM software.
  • Demonstrates a minimum of 3 years of experience in steel detailing and modeling, with a focus on Tekla Structures.
  • Exhibits a strong understanding of steel fabrication processes, including welding and connection design.
