Roles & Responsibilities
Role Overview: The Telesales Executive is responsible for converting inbound inquiries and qualified leads into confirmed sales through proactive follow-ups and consultative selling. The role focuses on engaging potential customers who express interest via digital channels, understanding their needs, presenting suitable solutions, and closing deals. This position requires strong telesales experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to perform in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities • Manage and follow up on inbound leads generated through the company website, social media platforms, and other digital marketing channels. • Conduct outbound follow-up calls to warm and semi-qualified leads to convert inquiries into sales. • Engage customers professionally over the phone, introduce company products and services, and deliver persuasive sales presentations. • Understand customer requirements, assess suitability, and recommend appropriate solutions tailored to their needs. • Effectively handle objections, negotiate terms, and close sales in line with company policies. • Consistently achieve or exceed assigned monthly sales targets, conversion rates, and KPIs. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, lead status, and follow-up actions in the CRM system. • Ensure timely follow-ups to maximize lead conversion and minimize response time to customer inquiries. • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional products or services. • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth handover of confirmed sales and a positive customer experience. • Perform effectively under pressure in a high-volume telesales environment. • Demonstrate flexibility with working hours, shifts, and overtime based on business requirements. • Carry out additional duties or role-related changes as assigned by the Supervisor or Head of Department.
Desired Candidate Profile
Skills and qualifications • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in telesales, inside sales, or business development, with a strong focus on lead conversion. • Proven ability to convert inbound inquiries and warm leads into successful sales. • Strong sales, negotiation, and closing skills with a performance-driven mindset. • Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills. • Ability to build rapport quickly and maintain customer relationships over the phone. • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience using CRM or lead management systems. • Strong time-management and organizational skills with attention to detail. • Ability to work under pressure while meeting sales targets and KPIs.
