Roles & Responsibilities
Job Description
- Supervise daily transport operations (fleet, drivers, routes, PODs).
- Coordinate freight forwarding operations (road/sea/air) from booking to delivery.
- Plan vehicle deployment, monitor trips, and control fuel & trip costs.
- Liaise with customers, drivers, customs, ports, and warehouses.
- Ensure on-time deliveries, resolve operational issues, and manage exceptions.
- Maintain operational records, compliance, and basic reporting to management.
Desired Candidate Profile
Requirements (Mandatory)
- 3–5 years experience in UAE transport & freight forwarding operations.
- Strong knowledge of UAE roads, ports, and customs processes.
- Experience managing drivers, vehicles, and daily dispatch.
- Good coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Basic MS Excel / operations reporting skills.
- UAE experience mandatory; UAE driving license is a plus.
