Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Safely transport containerized cargo to and from ports, warehouses, and distribution centers, adhering strictly to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and container, meticulously documenting any mechanical issues or damage.
  • Secure cargo properly within the container, ensuring it is stable and protected from shifting during transit, using appropriate equipment like chains and straps.
  • Operate electronic logging devices (ELDs) accurately to maintain compliance with Hours of Service (HOS) regulations, tracking driving time and rest periods.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A with endorsements for transporting hazardous materials (Hazmat), tank vehicles, and doubles/triples.

  • Demonstrate at least 2 years of experience driving a truck with container trailers, showcasing a proven track record of safe and efficient operation.

  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent, indicating a foundation for understanding instructions and completing paperwork.

  • Hold a clean driving record with no major violations, reflecting a commitment to safe driving practices and adherence to traffic laws.

  • Candidate must have a valid UAE driving license with min 2 years of experience
