Job Description

KILONEWTONS is seeking an experienced TUNNEL ENGINEER to join our underground construction team in Dubai, UAE. You ll play a key role in designing, planning, and supervising tunnel construction for metro, road, and utility projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and analyze tunnel structures using specialized software
  • Supervise tunnel construction (TBM, Drill & Blast, NATM methods)
  • Conduct geotechnical assessments and risk analysis
  • Monitor ground movements and implement stabilization measures
  • Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality regulations and international standards
  • Coordinate with contractors, geologists, and survey teams
  • Prepare technical reports and construction methodologies
  • Troubleshoot design/construction challenges in real-time
Must-Have Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor s/Master s in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering
  • 5+ years tunnel engineering experience in GCC/Middle East
  • Expertise in:
  • Tunnel Boring Machines (TBM)
  • New Austrian Tunneling Method (NATM)
  • Sequential Excavation Method (SEM)
  • Ground improvement techniques
