Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Accurately transcribe audio or handwritten documents into digital text, ensuring precision and attention to detail to maintain the integrity of the original content.
- Efficiently type a high volume of text with speed and accuracy, meeting or exceeding established typing speed benchmarks to support project timelines.
- Proofread and edit typed documents for grammatical errors, spelling mistakes, and punctuation inconsistencies, maintaining a high standard of written communication.
- Format documents according to specific guidelines and style guides, ensuring consistency and professional presentation of all typed materials.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Possesses a high school diploma or equivalent, providing a foundational level of education.
- Demonstrates proficiency in typing with a minimum speed of 60 words per minute, showcasing essential technical skills.
- Experience in data entry or transcription, preferably within the legal or medical field, offering relevant industry experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.), highlighting essential technical skills for the role.
