Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Strategic

  • Achieve the overall business plan (Volume/Value/Distribution/Collection) for specified territory for all Brands

  • Assist ASM with Route Planning, Ensure every route is being made profitable

  • Daily route productivity and coverage monitoring of every team member contributing to measurement of individual performance

  • Conduct thorough research and analysis to understand assigned geographical area, not limited to market dynamics, customer demographics and competitor activities

  • Identify and capitalize opportunities within the territory and challenge the VSR’s to go achieve the same

  • Evaluate and recommend improvements that can be made required on the HHT for improving our current system.

  • Set a challenging yet achievable distribution, visibility, coverage and productivity target for the team and track it on a daily basis to achieve it.

Operational Management/Coordination

  • Spend a total of 70% time in the field on a monthly basis working with the van salesman and assist them to achieve set 4x4 priorities

  • Conduct daily meetings and monitor the Van salesmen’s activities on a daily basis in terms of daily sales targets, # of calls target and # of selling calls target

  • Follow up on stocks to avoid delays and Credit Customers to make sure that we are in line with the Credit Terms set by the Company if not engage with the customer directly and provide necessary report to ASM

  • Prepare and submit the monthly incentive calculation to the Area Sales Manager with no errors

  • Ensure all customers are visited on a regular basis

  • Ensure that van sales reps keep their Vehi clean and ensure compliance all time

  • Train New Van salesman on product knowledge, prices offers etc before sending him to the field.

Desired Candidate Profile

Education and Experience

  • Graduate

  • 6 - 8 years of FMCG Van sales experience with 2 years of experience in supervisory role.

  • Valid UAE manual driving license

Specialized Skills/ Requirements

  • Communication, negotiation and selling skills

  • Business Acumen

  • Relationship management, planning and organization skills

  • MS Office – Knowledge level Medium to high

  • Ability to work under pressure adhering to deadlines.
