Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
The VP Onshore Architect BUH & NEB position is responsible for:
- Ensure full knowledge of, respect for, and adherence to the Company's Code of Conduct.
ADNOC Onshore JV Management:
- Prepare technical discussions on behalf of TotalEnergies as a shareholder of ADNOC Onshore, engaging with key stakeholders (OPCO, ADNOC Upstream, JODCO, CNPC, BP, GS Energy, Zhen Hua Oil, TTE HQ).
- Represent TotalEnergies in OPCO technical committees and participate actively in these meetings.
- Propose and consolidate TotalEnergies' objectives for ADNOC Onshore assets, including SEC production, Capex/Opex, financial results, etc.
- Consolidate technical dossiers related to major investment decisions and coordinate approvals with DIG/HQ.
- Manage contracting approval requests from ADNOC Onshore in accordance with the Procurement and Contracts process and Delegation of Authority.
- Ensure consistency in the work program and budget. Monitor the activities of the Asset Leader Support Group (ALSG) based at HQ, which provides cross-functional studies and support (including geosciences).
- Prepare ADNOC Onshore data and reports for TotalEnergies corporate exercises (e.g., PRIME, PDC, Budget, LTP).
- Develop monthly KPI dashboard analyses and internal reporting/communication packages regarding ADNOC Onshore activities.
- Contribute to Budget and LTP exercises as required
- Assist the SVP Onshore Oil Asset in fulfilling TotalEnergies' obligations under the Master Technology Agreement. Ensure thorough and timely responses to ADNOC Onshore requests.
- Review ADNOC drilling and project activities and propose optimizations
- Act as a proactive advisor to ADNOC Onshore, proposing optimizations in operations (production and drilling) and project developments (definition and execution).
- Monitor and control assistance work performed at sole cost, which impacts revenue and contributes to Asset Leader performance.
- Liaise with the VP Technology Hub at ADNOC Onshore to identify and share technologies, practices, and know-how that support concession objectives in operational performance and technology transfer.
- Support the SVP Onshore Asset in continuously monitoring OPCO technical performance, proposing mitigation measures, and promoting a proactive approach to potential issues.
- Propose initiatives to optimize CAPEX and OPEX
Desired Candidate Profile
- 15+ years of experience including 5 years previous architecture exposure and experience. Full autonomy on architecture - evaluation & development process. Strong knowledge on strategy, technical, contracts, economics
- Behavioral competencies required for the position : Communication, Influence, Coordination, Problem solving, Team work
- Language skills required for the position : Fluent in English, French is a plus
- Specific knowledge required for the position: Technical broad expertise in Oil and gas. Previous exposure to petroleum architect role Development

The role of the incumbent is: (1) to contribute actively to ADNOC Onshore Asset management and (2) to support/ supervise the role of Total Energies Asset Leader to support ADNOC Onshore in all technical and technology-related activities, to review the OPCO's performance, and to provide accordingly feedback and guidance to both TotalEnergies and ADNOC Onshore. The VP-Asset & Senior Petroleum Architect interacts with VPs of ADNOC Onshore and acts as main focal point for all Asset Lead matters and Project Developments with the OP .
