Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests with courtesy, ensuring a pleasant lounge/bar experience.

• Present menus, explain drink specials, and offer recommendations when required.

• Take and serve food and beverage orders accurately and promptly.

• Ensure tables and lounge areas are clean, well-presented, and set according to standards.

• Upsell beverages, cocktails, and promotions to maximize revenue.

• Handle guest complaints or requests efficiently, escalating when necessary.

• Process billing and payments accurately.

• Work closely with bartenders and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.

• Adhere to hygiene, health, and safety standards in food and beverage handling.

• Follow hotel grooming standards and represent the brand professionally.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Previous experience as a waitress/waiter in a lounge, bar, or restaurant preferred.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Pleasant personality, well-groomed, and guest-oriented.

• Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

• Basic knowledge of beverages, cocktails, and bar service.

• Team player with a positive attitude and attention to detail.

• Flexibility to work in shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Good command of English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
