Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily operations of all water sports activities, including kayaking, paddleboarding, windsurfing, jet skiing, snorkeling, parasailing, and other related activities.
- Ensure guest safety by enforcing all safety rules and procedures.
- Train, schedule, and manage water sports staff including instructors, lifeguards, and beach attendants.
- Conduct regular equipment inspections and ensure all gear is properly maintained, stored, and ready for use.
- Coordinate and deliver water sports lessons and guided excursions as needed.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, staff schedules, and incident reports.
- Monitor weather conditions and assess risk to determine if activities should be delayed or canceled.
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g., guest services, maintenance) to ensure a seamless experience for guests.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor s degree in recreation, sports management, or related field preferred).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in water sports instruction or supervision.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Certified in CPR, First Aid, and lifeguarding (additional water sports certifications preferred).
- Ability to swim confidently and perform rescues if needed.
- Knowledge of water safety regulations and emergency procedures.
Working Conditions:
- Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Physically fit and able to lift and carry water sports equipment.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as required.
Desired Candidate Profile
