Water Sports Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily operations of all water sports activities, including kayaking, paddleboarding, windsurfing, jet skiing, snorkeling, parasailing, and other related activities.
• Ensure guest safety by enforcing all safety rules and procedures.
• Train, schedule, and manage water sports staff including instructors, lifeguards, and beach attendants.
• Conduct regular equipment inspections and ensure all gear is properly maintained, stored, and ready for use.
• Coordinate and deliver water sports lessons and guided excursions as needed.
• Handle guest inquiries and resolve any concerns in a professional and timely manner.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, staff schedules, and incident reports.
• Monitor weather conditions and assess risk to determine if activities should be delayed or canceled.
• Collaborate with other departments (e.g., guest services, maintenance) to ensure a seamless experience for guests.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor s degree in recreation, sports management, or related field preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in water sports instruction or supervision.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Certified in CPR, First Aid, and lifeguarding (additional water sports certifications preferred).
• Ability to swim confidently and perform rescues if needed.
• Knowledge of water safety regulations and emergency procedures.

Working Conditions:

• Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Physically fit and able to lift and carry water sports equipment.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as required.
