Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement wholesale sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
- Identify new business opportunities, wholesale accounts, and regional partners.
- Manage pricing, promotions, and trade deals to maximize profitability.
2. Distributor & Account Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and key retail partners.
- Conduct regular business reviews with distributors to track performance and solve challenges.
- Ensure timely order processing, delivery, and product availability across channels.
3. Market Execution & Expansion
- Drive SKU distribution, visibility, and placement within the Central Region.
- Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and price dynamics.
- Lead expansion initiatives to improve numeric and weighted distribution.
4. Operations & Inventory Control
- Coordinate with supply chain teams to ensure optimal stock levels and on time replenishment.
- Monitor sell in and sell out data to avoid overstock or stockouts.
- Ensure compliance with company standards for freshness, quality, and shelf life.
5. Team Leadership
- Supervise, coach, and support field sales teams (merchandisers, supervisors).
- Set KPIs, conduct performance evaluations, and drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, route planning, and coverage efficiency.
6. Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare weekly/monthly sales performance reports.
- Analyze market insights, customer trends, and sales data to support management decisions.
- Track return on investment (ROI) for trade activities and promotions.
Desired Candidate Profile
Must Have
- Bachelor s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- 7 14 years of experience in FMCG wholesale (food category preferred).
- Strong understanding of KSA wholesale landscape and distributor networks.
- Proven track record of driving sales growth and managing key accounts.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and sales reporting tools.
- Valid KSA driving license preferred.
