Wireline Engineer GET Global Group

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Possess complete technical knowledge of Logging Units, Downhole Tools, Operating Software, and procedures required to operate various wireline tools and equipment.
• Plan and prepare for the execution of specific wireline jobs by consulting with the client and collecting all necessary operational inputs prior to mobilization.
• Organize and ensure all equipment is calibrated, tested, and ready for safe transportation and deployment at the job site.
• Conduct pre-job meetings with rig crew to identify operational hazards and ensure safe and effective execution of the job.
• Supervise the installation, operation, and troubleshooting of open hole and cased hole logging tools and related downhole equipment.
• Provide technical supervision and on-the-job training to new crew members and operators to enhance operational efficiency and safety awareness.
• Ensure compliance with HSE policies, safety standards, SOPs, and regulatory requirements, including safe handling of radioactive sources, explosives, and driving safety.
• Monitor all job-related activities to ensure safe, efficient, and timely completion of operations while meeting job objectives.
• Maintain complete knowledge and operational capability with open hole / cased hole logging tools, Nuclear Magnetic Resonance logs, LWD / MWD tools, hydrocarbon typing, borehole imaging, perforation systems, sampling tools, RSS, DST tools, spinners, CBL / VDL / USIT, and production logging equipment.
• Supervise and guide the logging crew during operations both onshore and offshore, including environments with H S exposure.
• Prepare and submit comprehensive job reports, including operational details, field reports, log prints, and other relevant data for interpretation by site officials and clients.
• Ensure all team members possess valid certifications, licenses, and safety training required for operations.
• Maintain continuous availability 24/7 while on call during operational assignments.
• Demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills during project execution and client interactions.
• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with company safety policies, standard operating procedures, and legal compliance guidelines.

Experience working in offshore environments is highly preferred.
