Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate accounting books for multiple client companies in UAE and GCC jurisdictions using accounting software (QuickBooks / Zoho / Tally / Xero).

  • Handle day-to-day entries, bank reconciliations, supplier & customer ledgers, and expense tracking.

  • Prepare monthly MIS reports, cash flow statements, and management dashboards.

  • Ensure timely VAT return preparation and filing; support corporate tax registration and compliance.

  • Coordinate with auditors for year-end audits and ensure all supporting schedules are complete. Review client invoices, vendor bills, petty cash, and payroll sheets for accuracy.

  • Maintain organized financial documentation in compliance with UAE regulations and Steeple’s internal audit requirements.

  • Support management with ad-hoc financial analysis, forecasts, and cost-reduction insights.

  • Liaise with client PROs and operations teams to collect bills, vouchers, and payment evidence.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Experience: 2 – 5 years of accounting experience in the UAE (preferably in audit firms or corporate service providers).

  • Education: Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Finance (CA Inter / ACCA preferred).

    Technical Skills:

  • Strong command of accounting software (QuickBooks Online, Tally, Zoho Books, or Xero).

  • Knowledge of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and IFRS-based reporting.

  • Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools.

  • Soft Skills: High attention to detail, organizational discipline, and time management.

  • Strong written and verbal communication.

  • Ability to handle multiple clients and deadlines independently.
