Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide Support to section head in creating project business plans aligned with the department's strategic objectives.
- Assist in conducting feasibility studies for masterplan and project-level initiatives, providing valuable insights for stakeholder decision-making.
- Manage the inventory systems and report inventory performance metrics, ensuring compliance with the company's business plan.
- Identify opportunities for business development process automation and policy optimization.
- Support section head to implement relevant tools and commercial initiatives to enhance departmental efficiency and analytical performance.
- Support the section head in preparing financial and business models using market intelligence data and stakeholder feedback, driving growth and profitability.
- Ensure adherence to the relevant Delegation of Authority (DOA) approval process for business plans.
- Submit required documents in a timely manner to meet internal deadlines and support the roll-out schedule.
- Collaborate closely with senior team members to provide informed views on projects, including design/development rationale, financial metrics, profitability, and market positioning.
- Prepare comprehensive reports for management, offering valuable insights to facilitate well-informed decision-making.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing client stand customers by proactively addressing their requirements and ensuring high satisfaction levels.
- Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, emerging technologies, and market dynamics relevant to the organization.
- Keep abreast of the competitive landscape to identify potential opportunities and challenges.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in finance / Economics or relevant technical fields; Master’s degree -preferred.
- CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) - preferred
- Min. 4-6 years’ experience in the business development/development function with at least 2 years in a managerial role with developer/ consultant side.
- Practical experience in major real estate projects in the MENA/GCC region
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Financial modeling software, valuation tools ,and spreadsheet applications for creating cash flow projections and investment scenarios.
- Project Management Skills
- Be able to conduct market research and analyze financial models
- Real estate financing, including debt and equity structures, is highly desirable.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Analytical skills required to identify key focus markets in region and map out entry plans (consumer demand, competition, etc.)
- Efficient problem solving, decision making and negotiation skills.
