Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake a variety of goods, including breads, pastries, and cakes.
- Follow recipes and ensure consistency in product quality.
- Decorate and present finished products in an appealing manner.
- Monitor oven temperatures and adjust as necessary for optimal baking results.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage and labeling of ingredients.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient production and timely delivery of baked goods.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Assist with inventory management and ordering of baking supplies.
Desired Candidate Profile
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Culinary or baking certification preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a professional bakery or pastry shop.
- Knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment.
- Familiarity with food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods of time.
