Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Prepare and bake a variety of goods, including breads, pastries, and cakes.
  • Follow recipes and ensure consistency in product quality.
  • Decorate and present finished products in an appealing manner.
  • Monitor oven temperatures and adjust as necessary for optimal baking results.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage and labeling of ingredients.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient production and timely delivery of baked goods.
  • Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Assist with inventory management and ordering of baking supplies.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Culinary or baking certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a professional bakery or pastry shop.
  • Knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment.
  • Familiarity with food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods of time.
