Job Description

As a Billing Administrator, you will be an essential part of our finance team, ensuring that billing operations are executed effectively and efficiently. Your role involves maintaining accurate billing records, processing invoices, managing accounts, and supporting the resolution of any billing discrepancies. You will work closely with our clients and internal teams to ensure timely payments and exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate is thorough, detail-oriented, and has a strong understanding of billing procedures and accounting software. Responsibilities
  • Generate and send invoices to clients according to established schedules and procedures.
  • Monitor and manage accounts receivable, ensuring timely collection of payments.
  • Resolve billing discrepancies and disputes with clients in a professional manner.
  • Update billing databases, ensuring all client information is accurate and current.
  • Prepare monthly billing reports for review by the finance and management teams.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate billing and resolve any issues.
  • Maintain confidentiality of billing information and adhere to company policies.
  • Assist with audits by providing requested billing and financial documentation.
  • Provide exceptional customer service in handling billing inquiries and complaints.
  • Develop and implement improvements to billing processes and procedures.
  • Train and support new staff members on billing system and processes as needed.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory requirements related to billing.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; College degree in finance or accounting preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in billing or a related field.
  • Proficiency with billing software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail combined with excellent organizational skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with customers and team members.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to resolving billing issues.
