BIM Team Leader - Architectural Engineering

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and supervise a team of BIM Engineers (Civil, Infrastructure, and MEP) across multiple projects.
• Oversee the development, coordination, and maintenance of multidisciplinary BIM models in line with approved drawings, specifications, and site conditions.
• Manage BIM coordination and clash detection across all disciplines using Navisworks and related tools.
• Ensure proper implementation of the BIM Execution Plan (BEP) and compliance with project and client BIM requirements.
• Support site and project teams with BIM-based clarifications, model reviews, sequencing analysis, and constructability support.
• Review and validate shop drawings, method statements, and as-built models using BIM.
• Coordinate with project managers, consultants, subcontractors, and client BIM teams to resolve BIM-related and execution issues.
• Monitor BIM deliverables, timelines, and quality to ensure alignment with project schedules.
• Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and performance support to BIM team members.
• Support preparation of COBie data, asset registers, quantities, and handover models (LOD 500 / As-Built).
• Report BIM progress, risks, and coordination issues to senior management.

Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in Architectural Engineering.
• 7 10 years of BIM experience, with at least 2 3 years in a leadership or coordination role within a construction or contracting company.
• Strong multidisciplinary BIM knowledge across Civil, Infrastructure, and MEP systems.
• Solid understanding of LOD requirements (up to LOD 500 / As-Built).
• Strong knowledge of BIM interoperability, COBie, and asset data requirements.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Civil 3D, and Navisworks.
• Experience with clash detection, coordination workflows, and BIM execution planning.
• Familiarity with shop drawings, RFIs, site coordination, and construction sequencing.
• Excellent leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under project deadlines.
• Experience in KSA construction projects is a strong advantage.
