Roles & Responsibilities

A Business Development Executive (BDE) is responsible for identifying business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and driving company growth through new customer acquisition and strategic partnerships. They serve as the link between a company’s products or services and its target market. Key Responsibilities: Lead Generation & Prospecting: Research and identify new business opportunities. Generate leads through cold calling, email campaigns, networking, and other channels. Qualify prospects based on their needs and potential. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients. Understand client requirements and offer suitable solutions. Maintain regular follow-ups to ensure satisfaction and continued engagement. Sales & Revenue Generation: Achieve or exceed sales targets and KPIs. Prepare and deliver presentations or proposals to clients. Negotiate contracts and close deals. Market Research & Strategy: Analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and customer demands. Provide insights and feedback to internal teams for product/service improvements. Collaboration & Reporting: Work closely with the marketing, sales, and product teams. Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities in CRM tools. Report weekly/monthly progress to management. Key Skills & Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field. Experience: 3–5 years in sales, business development, or related roles (entry-level for junior positions). Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong negotiation and closing abilities. Knowledge of CRM software (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce). Self-motivated, target-driven, and persistent. Good presentation and organizational skills. Preferred Attributes: Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Willingness to travel if required. Familiarity with the industry or market sector.
