Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the freight industry, focusing on specific market segments for targeted growth.
  • Manage and track sales pipelines, forecasts, and performance metrics to achieve sales targets.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored freight solutions.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with clients, ensuring profitability and alignment with company objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (operations, customer service, etc.) to ensure seamless execution of freight services.
  • Stay updated on industry regulations, compliance requirements, and best practices in freight forwarding.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in freight sales, business development, or a related role.
  • Demonstrated success in identifying and securing new business opportunities within the freight industry.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a results-oriented mindset.
