Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Our Client is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth in its physical gold trading operations. The role focuses on sourcing gold suppliers within the UAE, building strong relationships with traders and counterparties, and originating profitable buy and sell opportunities for physical bullion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source and onboard gold suppliers within the UAE in line with company standards and compliance requirements
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with gold traders, dealers, refineries, and counterparties
  • Originate and execute buy and sell opportunities for physical gold bullion
  • Monitor market trends, pricing movements, and liquidity to identify trading opportunities
  • Negotiate commercial terms and ensure competitive pricing and margins
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth trade execution and settlement
  • Ensure all transactions comply with regulatory, AML, and KYC requirements
  • Represent the company in meetings, industry events, and networking activities

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in gold trading, bullion trading, commodities trading, or a closely related field
  • Proven experience dealing with physical gold suppliers and traders within the UAE market
  • Strong commercial and negotiation skills
  • Solid understanding of the UAE gold market and bullion trading practices
  • Ability to identify and close profitable trading opportunities
  • Strong relationship building and stakeholder management skills
  • Results driven and self motivated mindset
