About the role

We're looking for a Category Manager who can breathe life into our products and tell compelling stories that captivate our diverse audience. At Reckitt, you'll harness your marketing expertise to craft strategies that resonate across markets and drive significant growth. Your responsibilities
  • Define the category vision and annual brand strategies aligned with Global and Regional direction.
  • Translate consumer insights, market trends, and competitive dynamics into clear growth plans.
  • Own portfolio architecture, brand roles, pricing ladders, and pack strategy.
  • Deliver against category KPIs: NSV, market share, penetration, equity and profitability.
  • Lead the innovation pipeline from concept to in-market execution.
  • Lead cross-functional teams and partner with Global & Regional Marketing, R&D, Supply, and Procurement to ensure launches are fit-for-market, on-time, and cost-efficient.
  • Balance global platforms with local consumer needs, affordability, and regulatory requirements, tracking post-launch performance and feeding learnings back.
  • Define brand positioning, communication and messaging in line with global guidelines.
  • Lead creative development with local and global agencies across ATL, digital, and in-store.
  • Own media strategy and A&P investment, ensuring ROI and effectiveness.
  • Lead GTM strategy, including launches, promotions and channel prioritization.
  • Represent markets in regional and global forums, ensuring strong alignment with global governance and stage-gate processes, while adapting to local realities.
  • Partner closely with Sales to drive distribution, visibility, and activation excellence.
  • Support trade-offs between growth, affordability, and margin discipline.
  • Ensure strong shopper activation and in-store execution in partnership with Sales.

Desired Candidate Profile

8 10 years of experience in FMCG marketing, preferably in Home Care / Hygiene.

  • Proven experience in brand or category management with P&L exposure.
  • Strong track record in innovation launches and integrated communication.
  • Experience working within matrix, regional/global organizations.
  • Strategic thinker with strong execution capability.
  • Commercially savvy with solid financial acumen.
  • Ability to influence across functions, cultures, and seniority levels.
  • Comfortable operating in fast-paced, resource-constrained environments.
  • Strong prioritization, communication, and decision-making skills.
