Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Master the mise en place: Prepare all ingredients meticulously, ensuring precise cuts, measurements, and organization for smooth service.
- Execute cooking instructions flawlessly: Follow recipes and chef's directions to produce dishes that meet quality and consistency standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene: Adhere strictly to food safety regulations, sanitizing workstations and equipment throughout shifts.
- Assist in food preparation: Aid senior chefs in various tasks, from butchering meats to preparing sauces, to expedite service.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Possesses a High School Diploma or equivalent; a culinary degree or vocational training is advantageous.
- Demonstrates basic food safety certification, such as ServSafe or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hotel kitchen environment is desirable.
- A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar culinary role.
