Job Description

We are looking for a highly qualified and detail-oriented Chief Accountant. As Chief Accountant, you will play a crucial role in overseeing our organization's financial operations and ensuring compliance with local accounting standards and regulations.

Prepare and manage month-end and year-end closing procedures, including accounting entries and financial statements.

Compile comprehensive financial reports for management in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Ensure that bank reconciliations are completed in a timely and accurate manner.

Develop and implement effective accounting processes and controls.

Analyze financial data and provide useful information for strategic decision-making.

Oversee operations related to accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.

Collaborate with external auditors on annual audits.

Keep up to date with local accounting standards and regulations, ensuring compliance of all financial activities.

Participate in budgeting and forecasting processes.

Qualifications

Degree in Accounting or Finance;

At least two years of experience in a similar position, .

Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and relevant accounting systems.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.

Proven experience in financial reporting, analysis, and forecasting.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Experience in implementing and improving financial processes and controls.
