Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key ResponsibilitiesLead the Enterprise Risk Management framework, including policies, risk appetite, and risk registers, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with the firm s strategic objectives.
Oversee regulatory compliance across all business lines, embedding a strong risk-aware culture while monitoring evolving laws and industry standards.
Monitor and manage financial, counterparty, operational, and legal risks, providing early identification of exposures and mitigation strategies.
Review key commercial contracts, licensing agreements, and business initiatives from a risk perspective, coordinating with legal and compliance teams to address material risks.
Prepare and present comprehensive risk reports, dashboards, and scenario analyses for senior management and the Board, highlighting key risk indicators and emerging threats.
Serve as an independent voice in governance forums, including risk committees, providing challenge, guidance, and escalation where necessary to protect the firm s interests.
Desired Candidate Profile
Requirements10 15 years experience in risk management, compliance, or related functions within financial services, fintech, or digital asset firms.
Strong understanding of enterprise risk frameworks and GCC regulatory regimes.
Experience managing financial, compliance, counterparty, and legal risks at a senior/executive level.
Proven ability to engage with senior management and Boards on risk matters and influence decision-making.
Professional qualifications such as FRM, PRM, CAMS, or equivalent are advantageous.
Bachelor s degree in Finance, Law, Economics, or Risk Management; postgraduate qualifications desirable.
