Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Develop and execute the investment strategy for the firm s MENA, defining target markets, asset allocation models, and risk management frameworks.
Lead all aspects of the investment process, from initial screening and due diligence to final investment decisions and portfolio management.
Direct the team in creating new fund products tailored to the opportunities within the MENA region.
Spearhead all capital-raising activities by identifying and securing commitments from institutional investors, sovereign wealth funds, family offices, and high-net-worth individuals across the region.
Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key investors, providing transparent reporting and sophisticated market insights.
Craft and deliver compelling presentations and marketing materials for fundraising roadshows and investor meetings.
Establish and nurture strategic alliances with financial institutions, regulatory bodies, and key industry players to enhance deal flow and market presence.
Act as the primary representative of the fund at industry conferences, seminars, and networking events to build brand equity and expand our professional network.
Recruit, manage, and mentor a team of senior investment professionals, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented culture.
Oversee the team s research, financial modeling, and performance analysis, ensuring the highest standards of quality and accuracy.
Desired Candidate Profile
Experience: A minimum of 10-15 years of experience in asset management, investment banking, or private equity, with a significant focus on mutual funds.
MENA Expertise: An extensive and deeply-rooted professional network within the MENA financial community is essential.
Track Record: Demonstrable success in raising significant capital and managing profitable investment portfolios.
Leadership: Proven experience in a leadership role, with the ability to manage and inspire a team of senior professionals.
Education: A Master s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field. A CFA charter is highly preferred.
Languages: Fluency in English is required. Professional proficiency in Arabic is a major asset.
