Roles & Responsibilities

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

As a Commercial Valuer at Land Sterling, your pivotal role involves producing precise commercial valuation reports adhering to international (RICS) and local (RERA) standards. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of the commercial market, trends, and regulatory guidelines. You will conduct property inspections, ensure high-quality reports, and contribute to advisory and research functions. Your expertise in market data analysis and adherence to professional standards will be crucial in providing accurate valuations and contributing to the success of Land Sterling.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare commercial valuation reports, adhering to local and international standards.
  • Retain and develop a current understanding of the commercial market, trends, sales prices, rental rates, and demand to assist in the preparation of valuation reports.
  • Ensure reports meet a high-quality standard/appearance and comply with International (RICS) & Local (RERA) reporting standards.
  • Conduct property inspections on assigned projects and produce accurate inspection notes.
  • Prepare written location and property descriptions.
  • Retain and develop a detailed understanding of rental and sales prices for differing unit types throughout Dubai and the Northern Emirates.
  • Undertake a range of tasks, as required on an ad hoc basis.
  • Periodic peer review of team member reports ensuring reports meet a high-quality standard/appearance.
  • Provide Advisory & Research with the latest market data, as requested.


WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor s Degree in Real Estate or land administration
  • Full member of RICS
  • MRICS with Valuation pathway or equivalent
  • Must possess a driver s license and a vehicle to operate in the UAE
  • Proficient in PC skills
  • Proficient in spoken and written English
  • 2 years experience in a Commercial Property Valuer role is preferred
  • Real Estate Agency/Brokerage or Property Management experience will be considered
  • UAE experience is preferred but not essential
