Job overview

Professional Duties

The following duties shall be deemed to be included in the professional duties which a receptionist will be required to perform:

Key Responsibility: The iSAMS Manager will play a key role in managing and developing the school s Management Information System (iSAMS), ensuring data integrity and supporting staff in its effective use

MIS Administration & Support

  • Administer and configure iSAMS to meet the operational and academic needs of the school.

  • Act as the primary contact for MIS-related queries and troubleshooting.

  • Maintain user access permissions and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.

  • Support updates to academic timetables, student records, and staff data in collaboration with relevant departments.

Data Integrity & Quality Assurance

  • Conduct regular audits of MIS data to ensure accuracy and consistency.

  • Advise departments on best practices for data entry and management.

  • Manage the rollover of MIS data between academic years.

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Create and maintain dashboards and reports

  • Provide insights into academic performance, attendance, and operational metrics as requested.

  • Support the SLT and other staff with bespoke data analysis for planning and monitoring.

System Integration & Maintenance

  • Monitor and maintain integrations with platforms.

  • Support minor system developments and troubleshoot integration issues as needed.

Compliance

  • Contribute to the production of statutory returns

  • Ensure all data handling complies with safeguarding policies.

  • Maintain awareness of statutory data reporting requirements.

Experience

  • Experience with iSAMS or a similar MIS platform.

  • Strong understanding of data protection

  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.

  • Organised, proactive, and able to manage your own workload.

  • Experience in the education sector

  • Understanding of school timetabling and assessment data.
