Job Summary:

The Executive – Fleet Operations will manage and coordinate daily fleet activities, ensuring optimal vehicle utilization, adherence to company standards, and cost-effective transport solutions. The role involves supervising drivers, maintaining accurate vehicle records, overseeing cross-border operations, and ensuring timely vehicle availability to meet business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage cross-border road (GCC Experience )freight operations and distribution management.
  • Ensure smooth fleet management processes, including daily shipment tracking and on-time deliveries.
  • Develop a strong geographical understanding of the GCC region to optimize routes and operations.
  • Analyze and present operational data through Excel and PowerPoint reports, providing actionable insights to management and clients.
  • Prepare and manage documentation for import/export activities, bonded movements, and JAFZA operations.
  • Coordinate shipment inquiries with central teams and liaise with transporters to ensure efficient cargo movement.
  • Ensure compliance with all transport, customs, and safety regulations.
  • Implement standardized operational intelligence tools and monitor process performance.
  • Provide feedback on operational and data issues; assist in ad hoc projects to ensure timely completion.
  • Liaise with third-party logistics providers and overseas partners to streamline operations.
  • Manage the daily fleet schedule, including vehicle and driver allocation.
  • Coordinate with the transportation team for timely pick-up and delivery assignments.
  • Maintain accurate records of vehicle movements, fuel usage, maintenance schedules, and insurance renewals.
  • Ensure compliance with RTA and local transport authority regulations and company safety policies.
  • Track and analyze fleet performance, reporting on efficiency, downtime, and cost trends.
  • Oversee vehicle maintenance and servicing, coordinating with vendors and workshops.
  • Manage driver attendance, duty rosters, and performance.
  • Assist with accident reporting, claim processing, and documentation.
  • Support budgeting and cost control initiatives for fleet operations.
  • Maintain regular communication with internal departments to ensure seamless logistics support.

Requirements & Skills:

  • Strong coordination and communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and fleet management software.
  • Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and transport documentation.
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • High attention to detail and strong analytical/problem-solving skills.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business Administration (preferred).
  • 2–4 years of experience in fleet or transport operations.
  • Familiarity with UAE road transport laws and RTA procedures.
  • Valid driving license preferred
