Roles & Responsibilities

  • Craft personalized weekly meal plans that cater to dietary preferences, allergies, and family traditions, ensuring variety and nutritional balance.
  • Source high-quality, seasonal ingredients from local markets or specialty suppliers, prioritizing freshness and sustainability.
  • Prepare and cook meals daily, employing culinary techniques that reflect both traditional and modern cooking styles, while maintaining impeccable presentation.
  • Manage kitchen inventory and supplies, tracking expiration dates and restocking items to minimize waste and ensure availability.
  • Collaborate with family members to gather feedback on meals and adjust recipes or cooking methods to enhance satisfaction.
  • Oversee kitchen cleanliness and organization, adhering to food safety standards and regulations to ensure a safe cooking environment.
  • Plan and execute special meals for occasions such as birthdays, holidays, or family gatherings, incorporating unique themes and special requests.
  • Educate family members on cooking techniques and nutrition, fostering an appreciation for healthy eating and culinary skills.
  • Adapt recipes and cooking methods for different family members, including children and elderly, to ensure everyone enjoys their meals.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in family cooking, catering, or personal chef roles, demonstrating a track record of successful meal preparations.
  • Experience in handling dietary restrictions and preferences, highlighting versatility in accommodating various nutritional needs.
  • Proficiency in multiple cuisines, with a particular emphasis on healthy and contemporary cooking styles.
  • Strong communication skills, allowing effective interaction with family members to understand preferences and provide culinary education.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices to maintain a hygienic kitchen and safe food handling.
