Job Summary:

The Food Safety Officer ensures that all food and beverage operations meet the highest standards of hygiene, sanitation, and safety. The role involves continuous monitoring of materials, tanks, and equipment to ensure they are clean, well-maintained, and under full control. The officer also coordinates with public health and service companies to maintain world-class standards in pest control, germ control, food safety, hygiene, and scenting solutions.


Key Responsibilities:

Implement and monitor food safety and hygiene policies across all production and service areas.

Conduct regular inspections to ensure that materials, tanks, and equipment are clean, sanitized, and operating properly.

Ensure compliance with HACCP, ISO 22000, and local food safety regulations.

Coordinate with external public health and hygiene service companies that provide pest control, germ control, food safety, hygiene, and scenting services.

Maintain detailed documentation and reports of inspections, audits, and corrective actions.

Train staff on food handling, hygiene, and sanitation procedures.

Investigate any food safety concerns and implement corrective and preventive measures.

Collaborate with suppliers and contractors to ensure adherence to safety and hygiene standards.

Stay updated on new technologies, standards, and regulatory requirements in food safety.


Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of experience in food safety, hygiene, or quality assurance within the food and beverage industry.

Strong knowledge of HACCP, ISO 22000, and related food safety systems.

ISO certification or equivalent food safety/hygiene certification is preferred.

Experience managing sanitation procedures and coordinating with public health and pest control companies.

Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.

Ability to train and lead teams effectively.
