Roles & Responsibilities
Main Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Model and support a learner-centered, hands-on classroom environment that promotes learner engagement and participation.
- Ensure that students reach the expected age-related outcomes for French
- Gain an understanding of working with Arab youth who will study French in English.
- Create a positive, active, language-rich learning environment.
- Support the learning process by identifying needs and guiding students to achieve their learning objectives.
- Ensure assessments are delivered according to the assessment strategy and guidelines, in a valid and rigorous manner.
- Maintain an accurate record of student achievement and performance.
- Create positive and effective relationships with colleagues.

Qualification
A Bachelor's degree within a relevant field: Bachelor s in French as a Foreign Language (FLE)/
Experience
- 3+ years of full-time teaching experience in schools
- 2+ years full- time teaching experience in schools if the candidate possesses one of the following:
- MOE teaching License
- Bachelor s Degree in Education (B.Ed)
- Master s Degree in Education (M.Ed)
- National Diploma in Education (NTS)
- Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE QTS not required)
- Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE)
- Higher Diploma in Education (H.D.E)
- Higher Education Diploma (H.E.D)
English Proficiency
Excellent level of English proficiency Excellent level of English proficiency (TOEFL iBT Language proficiency test required or an equivalent to it.
Age Limit
Up to 55 years old
Requirements for Emirati Nationals
Qualification
A Bachelor's degree within a relevant field: Bachelor s in French as a Foreign Language (FLE)/
Experience
- No previous teaching experience required.
- Minimum GPA of 2.5 for Emirati candidates.
- Certified continuing education in Teaching French as a Foreign Language (mandatory)
English Proficiency
Excellent level of English proficiency Excellent level of English proficiency (TOEFL iBT Language proficiency test required or an equivalent to it. UAE nationals score of 79-93 required)
Age Limit
Up to 55 years old

The MOE has also provided a smart learning system and high-quality digital platforms, side by side with the continuous development of school curriculums, according to national learning standards, assessment policy that is based on assessment for learning, and highest quality standards that match the best international practices. Various learning tracks, moreover, have been provided to support the capabilities and skills of students and achieve the country's strategy of encouraging the culture of creativity and innovation by providing the students with the skills of the 21st century and motivating them to have new ideas that relate to the reality they live in and forestall the future. This will eventually help in finding radical, sustainable solutions to the major issues, improving competitiveness, and supporting smart government in its attempts to keep pace with global advancements, advance education, and push it to broad horizons of excellence, leadership, and com petitiveness.
