Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
As Head Barista & Shop Manager, you are responsible for both the coffee quality and the daily operation of the café. You lead by example on the floor, ensure smooth service in a high-tempo environment, and deliver an outstanding guest experience. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in fast-paced hospitality.
Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and specialty beverages at a professional level
Deliver fast, consistent service in a high-tempo environment
Lead by example during busy hours and peak times
Serve simple food items (sandwiches, pastries, light meals)
Ensure excellent customer service and guest experience at all times
Train, guide, and support baristas and floor staff
Oversee daily café operations, including opening and closing routines
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety
Manage basic stock control and daily operational needs
Handle customer feedback and resolve issues professionally
Represent the brand and create a warm, welcoming atmosphere
Desired Candidate Profile
Proven experience as a Barista and/or Café Supervisor / Manager
Professional coffee skills (espresso extraction, milk texturing, latte art)
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Flexible availability (shift work, evenings, weekends, holidays)
Comfortable serving simple food and handling basic kitchen tasks
Strong customer service and communication skills
Leadership mindset with a hands-on attitude
High standards for cleanliness, quality, and professionalism
Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus)
Experience in Dubai or similar high-volume café environments is a plus
