Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  1. Culinary & Menu Development: Creating, testing, and pricing new menu items.

  2. Kitchen Operations: Managing food preparation, maintaining quality, and ensuring smooth service.

  3. Inventory & Cost Control: Ordering supplies, controlling food wastage, and monitoring inventory levels using FIFO.

  4. Staff Management: Recruiting, training, supervising, and scheduling kitchen staff.

  5. Health & Safety Compliance: Ensuring strict adherence to hygiene, food safety, and sanitation regulations.

  6. Leadership: Mentoring staff, driving team performance, and managing in a high-pressure environment.

Desired Candidate Profile

  1. Experience: Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a senior sous chef role.

  2. Education: Culinary arts degree or equivalent training preferred.

  3. Skills: Exceptional cooking skills, leadership,, communication, and, financial, acumen, (costing/budgeting).

  4. Certifications: Valid food hygiene and safety certificates.
