Coordinate the hiring, deployment, and demobilization of heavy equipment and machinery in line with project requirements. Maintain a detailed log of hired equipment, including rental periods, supplier details, rates, and locations. Negotiate with equipment suppliers and rental companies to ensure competitive pricing and favorable terms. Verify and review equipment hire agreements, quotations, and invoices before approval. Ensure that all hired equipment meets safety, quality, and RTA compliance standards before mobilization. Coordinate with site engineers, logistics, and procurement teams for equipment scheduling and delivery. Monitor daily equipment utilization reports and minimize idle time or underuse of machinery. Prepare and submit regular equipment cost reports, hire summaries, and performance analyses to management. Follow up with accounts and procurement departments for payment processing and documentation of hire contracts. Liaise with maintenance teams to ensure proper servicing and documentation of hired equipment. Assist in prequalification and evaluation of equipment suppliers in line with company policies. Maintain effective communication with project teams to anticipate future equipment requirements.
