Job Description

The HR & Admin Officer plays a crucial role in managing both the human resources and administrative functions of an organization. This position is central to ensuring aligned and coherent operational and employee management strategies. The HR & Admin Officer is responsible for overseeing recruitment processes, implementing HR practices, and maintaining regulatory conformity both in terms of employee management and office operations. This role is also pivotal in fostering a positive work environment, supporting staff, and managing administrative tasks that contribute to the organization s efficiency and success. With a dual focus on human resources and administration, the HR & Admin Officer helps balance operational needs with strategic goals, contributing to the organization's overall success and sustainability.


Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and oversee the recruitment process, from job postings to interviews.
  • Implement HR policies and procedures in line with company regulations.
  • Maintain and update employee records, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Facilitate staff onboarding and orientation processes for all new hires.
  • Administer payroll and benefits systems, ensuring timely distribution of salaries.
  • Assist in performance review processes, providing relevant data and reports.
  • Coordinate workplace safety programs and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Manage office supplies and equipment, ensuring availability and functionality.
  • Organize company events, meetings, and training sessions efficiently.
  • Handle employee grievances and resolve conflicts in a fair manner.
  • Support leadership in strategic planning and implementation of HR initiatives.
  • Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable HR requirements.

Requirements
  • Bachelor s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR and administrative roles.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and employee management principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
  • Proficiency in using HR information systems and MS Office software.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and integrity.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage diverse responsibilities.
