Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Staffing Prepare, post, and update job descriptions and advertisements for various positions. Manage the end-to-end recruitment process — including sourcing, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and assisting with selection decisions. Coordinate offer letters, employment contracts, and onboarding formalities. Maintain a database of potential candidates for future requirements. 2. Employee Relations & Engagement Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries, grievances, and disciplinary issues. Foster a positive work environment by promoting teamwork, communication, and company values. Assist in the planning and execution of employee engagement programs, welfare activities, and events. 3. HR Policies & Compliance Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in line with the company’s vision and local Omani labor laws. Ensure compliance with legal requirements and internal standards. Maintain and update employee records, personal files, and HR documentation in both digital and physical formats. 4. Performance Management Support the performance appraisal process, ensuring fairness and transparency. Maintain documentation and follow-up on performance improvement plans where applicable. Assist line managers in setting goals and evaluating employee performance. 5. Training & Development Coordinate onboarding and induction programs for new hires. Identify training needs through performance reviews and feedback sessions. Arrange internal or external training sessions and workshops to enhance staff development. 6. Payroll & HR Administration Assist in the preparation and verification of monthly payroll inputs (attendance, leave, overtime, etc.). Administer employee benefits, medical insurance, and leave management. Prepare HR-related reports and analytics for management review. 7. Health, Safety & Welfare Collaborate with the HSE department to ensure a safe and healthy workplace. Support compliance with safety and welfare standards in staff accommodations and offices.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
2–5 years of experience in HR, preferably in catering, hospitality, or facility management sectors.
Sound knowledge of Oman Labor Law and HR best practices. Proficiency in MS Office and HR software (e.g., Zoho, Oracle, or similar).
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
